Who controls your data
MotionPact controls the service data described in this policy. Privacy requests may be sent through the contact page or to support@motionpact.com.
Pre-launch website
While enrollment is closed, visiting the public website does not create a MotionPact account or payment record. Hosting and security providers may still process ordinary request, device, and error-log data. If you email support, the email service and MotionPact process the contact details and message you choose to send.
Data collected
We collect account and contact details; date of birth and gender; ZIP-derived city and coordinates; workout preferences and schedule; connection requests; messages, workout logs, community activity, blocks and reports; subscription identifiers and status; verification status and Stripe session reference; and ordinary device, request, security, and error logs.
Identity verification
Stripe Identity—not MotionPact—collects and processes document and selfie contents. MotionPact receives verification results and limited verified outputs needed to confirm US and 18+ eligibility, without storing document contents. Stripe retains verification information under its own terms. Account deletion starts Stripe-supported redaction, which can take up to four days; MotionPact keeps only the session reference needed to confirm completion and removes it when Stripe reports the session redacted.
How data is used
We use data to authenticate accounts, rank reciprocal compatibility, calculate distance, operate connections and member features, process billing, provide support, investigate abuse, secure and monitor the service, comply with law, and improve reliability.
What members see
Eligible members may see your first name, city, rounded approximate distance, workout interests, schedule, experience, training style, and profile description. ZIP codes, coordinates, date of birth, email, and identity documents are not part of discovery profiles. Contact information appears only if you choose to share it in a connection.
Service providers
Current infrastructure uses Supabase for authentication, database, and realtime; Stripe for billing and identity; Resend for email; Vercel and Railway for hosting; and Sentry when configured for error monitoring. Providers process data under their terms. We do not claim to sell member personal information.
Retention and deletion
Active-account data is retained while needed to provide the service. Account deletion removes or anonymizes personal and social data and revokes discovery. Payment, webhook, security, backup, and moderation evidence may remain for legal, fraud-prevention, dispute, or safety needs. Backup copies age out under the operator’s documented backup schedule; no unsupported fixed deletion period is promised here.
Choices and security
You can update profile data, block members, cancel renewal, and request deletion. Reasonable technical and organizational safeguards are used, but no online service can promise absolute security. MotionPact is intended only for US adults and is not directed to children.
